KESHAVJI CHHAGANLAL JEWELLERS

PRE-DHANTERAS SCRATCH CARD SCHEME

TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms govern the Pre-Dhanteras Scratch Card Scheme (the “Scheme”) run by Keshavji Chhaganlal Jewellers (the “Company”) at its Bistupur and Sakchi (Jamshedpur) and Ranchi stores (the “Participating Stores”). Accepting or using a Scratch Card means the customer has read and agreed to every term below.

  1. SCHEME PERIOD AND STORES

1.1 The Scheme runs from store opening on 20 October 2026 to store closing on 5 November 2026, both days included (the “Scheme Period”).

1.2 The Scheme is valid only at the Participating Stores. It is not available online, by phone, or at any other showroom.

1.3 A total of 3,000 Scratch Cards will be issued. Cards are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. The Scheme ends earlier, without prior notice, once all Scratch Cards are issued.

1.4 Scratch Cards and rewards are allotted store-wise. The Company may move stock between stores at its discretion.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Scheme is open to individual customers aged 18 years or above, resident in India, who make a Qualifying Purchase.

2.2 The following are not eligible: employees, directors and partners of the Company, of its associates, and of agencies working on this Scheme, along with their immediate family; and traders, dealers, jewellers or any buyer purchasing for resale.

2.3 The Company may ask for a valid photo ID, PAN and contact details at billing and at the time of claiming any reward. A customer who refuses is not eligible.

  1. QUALIFYING PURCHASE AND SCRATCH CARD ENTITLEMENT

3.1 A “Qualifying Purchase” is a new purchase of Gold, Silver, Diamond or Gemstone jewellery, invoiced and fully paid for within the Scheme Period. Payment by Cheque or online transfer counts only after the amount is realized.

3.2 The customer receives 1 Scratch Card for every Rs. 40,000 of Qualifying Purchase value on a single tax invoice. Value means the Final Invoice amount including GST.

3.3 Scratch Cards are given in whole multiples only. There is no rounding up.

Invoice Value Scratch Cards (Qty)
Rs.39,999 0
Rs.40,000 1
Rs.79,999 1
Rs.85,000 2
Rs.1,20,000 3

3.4 Separate Invoices cannot be added together to avail scratch card. Any balance below Rs. 40,000 cannot be carried forward or combined with a later purchase.

3.5 The following do not count towards Qualifying Purchase value: gold or silver coins, bars and bullion; advance bookings or orders not yet invoiced; purchase of gift vouchers; and any amount adjusted using a Gift Voucher won under this Scheme.

3.6 Purchases made before 20 October 2026 or after 5 November 2026 are not eligible, even if payment is made within the Scheme Period.

3.7 The Scratch Card is issued free of charge as a promotional gift linked to the purchase. The price of any jewellery is based only on the Company’s prevailing rates and is not increased because of the Scheme.

  1. SCRATCH CARD AND REWARDS

4.1 Each Scratch Card carries one outcome from the list below. The outcome is decided by chance and is hidden until scratched.

4.2 Rewards are limited in number. The Company does not promise any particular outcome, and does not promise that any card will carry a particular reward.

4.3 The Company’s records of cards issued and rewards given are final.

4.4 Product images, brands and colors shown in any advertisement are for illustration only. The Company may replace a reward with another of equal or higher value if the original is unavailable.

4.5 Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash, converted into any other item, transferred for value, or combined with another reward on the same card.

  1. SCRATCHING AND CLAIMING

5.1 The Scratch Card must be scratched at the issuing Participating Store, in front of store staff, at the time of billing or on the same visit.

5.2 The reward is given only at the Participating Store that issued the card, on the same day, against the original Scratch Card and the original tax invoice, and after ID verification.

5.3 The reward is given only to the person named on the Tax Invoice.

5.4 A Scratch Card that is photocopied, altered, scratched before issue, damaged, so the outcome cannot be read, or not issued by the Company, is Void.

5.5 Lost, stolen, damaged or expired cards will not be replaced. The Company is not responsible for a card once handed to the customer.

5.6 A reward not claimed within the Scheme Period, or within the time printed on the card, is forfeited.

5.7 Gift Vouchers are valid only for the period, minimum purchase and conditions printed on the voucher. A Gift Voucher has no cash value, is non-refundable, and cannot be used for coins, bars or bullion, or together with any other offer unless the voucher says so.

  1. RETURNS, EXCHANGE AND CANCELLATION

6.1 If a purchase is returned, cancelled or exchanged for an item of lower value, the Scratch Card and any reward linked to it are cancelled.

6.2 The customer must return the reward or Gift Voucher already received. If it cannot be returned, the Company may deduct its market value, based on the Company’s cost, from any refund or exchange credit.

6.3 If a return or exchange brings the final invoice value below the amount needed for the cards already issued, the extra cards and rewards are cancelled in the same way.

6.4 Making charges, rates and buy-back terms for jewellery follow the Company’s regular policy and are not changed by this Scheme.

  1. FRAUD AND DISQUALIFICATION

7.1 The Company may refuse a Scratch Card or reward, cancel one already given, and take back any reward, if it finds or reasonably suspects any of the following: false or forged documents, a wrong identity, tampering or copying of a card, a purchase made only to claim a reward and then reversed, splitting or sharing of invoices to get extra cards, or any other unfair or dishonest act.

7.2 The Company may report such acts to the police or take legal action, and may recover its losses and costs from the person responsible.

7.3 Store staff cannot change, waive or add to these terms. Only a written statement signed by the Company’s Director is valid.

  1. TAXES AND COSTS

8.1 Any tax, duty, levy or charge that applies to receiving or using a reward is the winner’s responsibility, unless the law requires the Company to bear it. Where the law requires the Company to deduct or collect any tax, it may do so before handing over the reward.

8.2 The customer bears all costs of travel, transport, insurance, and any other expense linked to claiming or using a reward.

8.3 Perfumes, gift items and other goods carry only the warranty given by their maker. The Company gives no warranty on them.

  1. PUBLICITY AND PERSONAL DATA

9.1 By claiming a reward, the winner agrees that the Company may use their name, city and photograph or video taken at the store, in its advertising and social media, without payment, unless the winner objects in writing at the time of claiming.

9.2 The Company will collect and use personal data only to run the Scheme, verify claims, and contact customers about the Scheme and their purchases, and will handle it as required by applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

  1. CHANGES, SUSPENSION, AND WITHDRAWAL

10.1 The Company may change these terms, extend, shorten, suspend, or withdraw the Scheme, or change the rewards, at any time, if needed for reasons it considers valid, including stock shortage, legal or regulatory requirements, technical failure, fraud, or events outside its control. Notice at the participating stores or on the company’s social media is enough.

10.2 Scratch Cards already issued before such a change will be honored as far as possible, and no other claim will arise.

  1. LIMIT OF LIABILITY

11.1 The Company is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, delay or expense that arises from receiving or using a reward, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

11.2 The Company is not responsible for any failure caused by events outside its control, including natural calamity, power or system failure, strike, curfew, riot, government order, or any restriction on trade.

11.3 In any case, the Company’s total liability under the Scheme is limited to the value of the reward the customer was entitled to.

  1. GOVERNING LAW, DISPUTES AND JURISDICTION

12.1 These terms and the Scheme are governed by the laws of India.

12.2 A customer who has a complaint must write to the Participating Store manager within 15 days of the date of the invoice, with the invoice and Scratch Card attached. The Company will review it and reply in writing.

12.3 Any dispute that remains unresolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, to the exclusion of all other courts, subject only to any right that the law does not allow to be excluded.

12.4 The Company’s decision on any question about the Scheme, including eligibility, number of cards, rewards and disqualification, is final and binding, to the extent the law permits.

  1. GENERAL

13.1 If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

13.2 A delay or failure by the Company to enforce a term is not a waiver of that term.

13.3 These terms, together with the printed card and voucher conditions, are the entire agreement on the Scheme. If a term printed on a Scratch Card or Gift Voucher conflicts with these terms, these terms apply, except for the voucher’s own validity period and conditions.

13.4 If these terms are given in more than one language, the English version applies in case of any difference.

13.5 The Scheme is not a lottery or a game for money. No payment is taken for a Scratch Card.

  1. ACCEPTANCE

By accepting a Scratch Card, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these terms in full.
